The use of Jenning gag is similar to the doyen’s mouth gag. It is placed in the center of the mouth. The blade of this mouth gag fit over the alveolar margins and not over the teeth.
The Jenning gag has no tongue blade and is designed primarily to maintain the upper and lower jaws open.
